Apply today for your score to be read by the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra and receive mentorship from established composers, feedback sessions with Symphony musicians, and public readings. Participants will be eligible to enter Grand Rapids’ ArtPrize competition for cash awards and be considered for a Grand Rapids Symphony commission in 2019/20.
We encourage compos- ers of all backgrounds to apply and are interested in supporting voices under- represented in the orchestral repertoire today. Women participants are eligible for
a $15,000 composer commission through the League of American Orchestras and ACO.
