DSSO Young Composer Competition (February 3)

The Duluth Superior Symphony announces a Call For Entries for the 2017 DSSO Young Composer Competition. Details attached but here are the quick facts:

Composition is to be an introduction or overture that compliments Igor Stravinsky’s L’histoire du soldat

It is to be 5-6mins in length

Instrumentation is the same as L’histoire

Submissions will be accepted January 16- February 3, 2017

Prize–$1000 and a performance of the piece by the DSSO Chamber Ensemble
